Steve Nash, uno dei più forti playmaker di sempre della NBA, ha annunciato il suo ritiro con una lettera pubblicata sul sito di Player’s Tribune. Nash ha giocato in NBA per 19 anni, durante i quali ha vinto due volte il premio di MVP e si è posizionato terzo nella classifica del numero di assist fatti registrare da un giocatore NBA (Nash ha terminato la sua carriera con 10.335 assist, dietro a John Stockton e Jason Kidd). Nash aveva dei problemi fisici notevoli da tempo: dal 2012 giocava nei Los Angeles Lakers.
