Il Real Madrid, una delle squadre di basket più forti del campionato spagnolo, ha battuto la squadra greca dell’Olympiakos per 78-59 in finale di Eurolega, il principale torneo di basket in Europa (l’equivalente della Champions League nel calcio). ll Real Madrid ha vinta l’Eurolega per la nona volta nella sua storia, ma non vinceva da 20 anni (l’ultima volta era stata nella stagione 1994-1995, proprio contro l’Olympiakos): le final four di Eurolega si sono giocate a Madrid.
