La playlist di ieri sera a Londra

La trentesima edizione dei Giochi Olimpici si è chiusa ieri sera allo stadio di Stratford, a Londra. La cerimonia di chiusura, diretta da Kim Gavin, si è svolta davanti a 80.000 spettatori che hanno assistito alle esibizioni dei più grandi musicisti britannici degli ultimi cinquant’anni (Annie Lennox, Pet Shop Boys, Fatboy Slim, Jessie J, gli Who, i Muse, i Take That e le Spice Girls, tra gli altri), intervallate da tributi a Beatles, John Lennon e Freddie Mercury.

Le registrazioni del concerto sono state raccolte in un disco che appropriatamente si chiama A Symphony of British Music e si può già acquistare su iTunes a 9,99 euro. Le versioni originali delle canzoni suonate ieri sera, invece, sono queste:
