AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd was released on bail on Monday after his weekend arrest in New Zealand on a charge of breaching the conditions of his home detention sentence for threatening to kill a former employee.

The 61-year-old Australian-born drummer was arrested at his home on New Zealand’s North Island on Saturday night, though police have refused to comment on the nature of the arrest.

Rudd was released on bail and will enter a plea when he appears in court on Aug. 3, Tuck said.
