I cerchi olimpici di Sydney sono stati messi all’asta

Si possono comprare su ebay a partire da 7.100 euro: fino ad oggi erano rimasti depositati in una fabbrica nel sud-est dell'Australia

I cerchi olimpici luminosi che durante le Olimpiadi australiane del 2000 furono appesi all’Harbour Bridge di Sydney sono stati messi all’asta su ebay a una cifra che parte da 10.000 dollari australiani (circa 7.100 euro). Al termine delle Olimpiadi, 15 anni fa, i cerchi sono stati portati nel magazzino di una fabbrica di Goulburn, città dello stato australiano del Nuovo Galles del Sud: da allora sono rimasti depositati lì e inutilizzati. Quando l’imprenditore Bernard Maas ha acquistato lo stabilimento, è diventato automaticamente anche il proprietario dei cerchi. Avendo bisogno di spazio, ha deciso subito di venderli: «sono usati, ma in buone condizioni. La struttura li ha conservati bene e sono ancora perfettamente funzionanti» ha detto Maas.
