Nove soldati uccisi dai talebani in Afghanistan

Un attentato suicida stamattina vicino a Jalalabad: i morti sono quattro afgani e cinque stranieri

Nove persone sono state uccise in un attacco a una base NATO nell’Afghanistan orientale, vicino a Jalalabad, sabato mattina. Sono quattro militari afgani e cinque stranieri. Secondo la BBC le vittime sarebbero dieci. Almeno altre otto persone sono state ferite.

L’attacco è stato compiuto da un singolo attentatore suicida, ha detto il ministro della Difesa afgano. L’uomo, che indossava l’uniforme dell’esercito afgano, si è fatto esplodere una volta arrivato ad un ingresso di una base militare gestita in collaborazione dalle forze afgane e dall’ISAF. I responsabili della coalizione NATO hanno confermato l’attacco senza dare informazioni sui morti. Solo ieri, nel sud del paese, un altro attacco suicida aveva ucciso il capo della polizia di Kandahar.
