Snow covers the fields surrounding a 36ft high straw meerkat, on display at an ice cream farm near Nantwich, north-west England on December 1, 2010. Britain's transport links with the rest of the world were disrupted by the early winter snowfall as key airports closed Wednesday and international Eurostar train services were cut. The sculpture, which is 30 times bigger than a real-life creature, was built to mark the start of the summer season in July. In previous years similar sized straw replicas of Big Ben and the Millennium Dome have stood on the site. AFP PHOTO/PAUL ELLIS (Photo credit should read PAUL ELLIS/AFP/Getty Images)
