Il picco massimo degli allagamenti a Brisbane si è toccato intorno alle 19 italiane, in coincidenza con l’alta marea: è stato inferiore alle previsioni che dall’inizio lo davano oltre i cinque metri sopra il livello del mare e invece non li ha raggiunti. A Brisbane erano le 4 del mattino, alle 5 ha cominciato ad albeggiare.
