Domenica la città di Gerusalemme ha proiettato sulle mura della città vecchia una bandiera italiana con la scritta “Italia, Gerusalemme è con te”, in segno di solidarietà con l’Italia per le difficoltà causate dall’epidemia del coronavirus. Iniziative simili sono state prese anche nelle città israeliane di Tel Aviv e Petah Tikva, che hanno illuminato con i colori della bandiera italiana le facciate dei rispettivi municipi.
