Il Rookwood Cemetery di Sydney è famoso per essere uno dei più grandi cimiteri in Australia. Dal 2009 ospita una mostra di scultura all’aperto dal nome Hidden (“Nascosto”), per sostenersi economicamente e per dimostrare alla comunità che oltre ad essere un luogo di riposo e di pace il cimitero è un patrimonio di storie, memoria collettiva e delle diverse culture del paese. La mostra è una delle iniziative più importanti nel sostenere gli artisti emergenti australiani: ogni anno sono invitati a riflettere sul concetto di mortalità, vita, amore e memoria.
