C’è stato un terremoto di magnitudo 7.4 in Messico. Secondo lo United States Geological Survey (USGS), agenzia scientifica del governo degli Stati Uniti, il terremoto è avvenuto alle 10.29 locali (le 17.29 in Italia) con epicentro a 11 km da Santa María Zapotitlán, nello stato di Oaxaca, nel sud del Messico. Al momento non si hanno notizie di danni a edifici o di persone ferite, ed è stata diramata un’allerta tsunami per il Messico e per Guatemala, El Salvador e Honduras.
