20 fotografie della città, in bianco e nero e senza le persone

MILAN, ITALY - JUNE 28: (EDITORS NOTE: Image was created and digitally altered using a smartphone.) A general view of Palazzo Reale on April 11, 2012 in Milan, Italy. Milan was named as the next Universal Exposition, ?Expo 2015?, the next World's fair in November 2010, following Shanghai?s hosting in the same year, which was followed by Expo 2012, held in Yeosu, South Korea. It will run from May 1 until October 31. The large public exhibitions are held every few years in various countries by the International Exhibitions Bureau (BIE). The Milan theme will be ?Feeding the planet, energy for life?, relating to technology, innovation, culture, traditions and creativity and how they relate to food and diet, focusing on the principle of the right to healthy, secure and sufficient food for the inhabitants of the World. The Milan site will occupy 0.42 square miles of the city in northwest Milan, spanning Rho and Pero. It will be followed in 2017 by Astana, Kazakhstan. London held the first Expo in 1851 and its success encouraged other nations to arrange similar events, which included Paris?s 1889 Expo for which the Eiffel Tower was designed and built.
