L’attacco contro Microsoft ad Atene

Questa notte uomini armati hanno causato un'esplosione nella sede centrale della società informatica in Grecia, i motivi sono sconosciuti

Nella notte tra martedì 26 e mercoledì 27 giugno, la sede centrale di Microsoft ad Atene è stata pesantemente danneggiata a causa di un attacco condotto da alcuni uomini armati. I motivi che hanno spinto a una simile iniziativa non sono ancora chiari.

Stando alle prime ricostruzioni delle autorità, intorno alle 3.45 tre uomini armati hanno minacciato la guardia giurata che si trovava all’ingresso dell’edificio, allontanandola, dopo di che hanno guidato un furgoncino rubato contro l’ingresso. Dopo essere entrati nel palazzo, gli uomini hanno cosparso il pavimento di liquido infiammabile e gli hanno dato fuoco. C’è stata anche un’esplosione, dato che nel veicolo rubato c’erano bombole di gas da campeggio.

La sede di Microsoft, che fa anche da sede centrale per la Grecia, è stata danneggiata al piano terreno e al primo piano. L’edificio si trova nel sobborgo settentrionale della capitale greca chiamato Marousi. Ci lavorano oltre 100 persone. Gli autori dell’attacco non sono stati individuati. Le indagini sono portate avanti dalla polizia e dalla squadra greca antiterrorismo.
