Il 19 febbraio è cominciata la decima edizione della Coppa del Mondo di cricket, ospitata da Bangladesh, India e Sri Lanka (doveva esserci anche il Pakistan, ma poi non se n’è fatto nulla per motivi di sicurezza). Partecipano quattrodici squadre, la finale si terrà il 2 aprile a Mumbai. Le squadre favorite sono proprio quelle delle nazioni ospitanti più l’Inghilterra,ovvero i paesi con la più lunga e solida tradizione di giocatori di cricket. Che sia uno sport dinamico e divertente lo dimostrano le foto: le regole le avevamo spiegate qui, quest’estate.
