By its size and the altitude, the reconstruction of the “Refuge du Gouter” is a major undertaking, construction began in summer 2010. Il rifugio alpino più alto di Francia
È ipertecnologico, spettacolare, rinnovato e si trova a 3.835 metri
Il Rifugio del Gouter è il rifugio custodito più alto di Francia e si trova lungo il versante nord del Monte Bianco, a quota 3.835 metri. È stato costruito nel 1906 ed è stato ristrutturato una prima volta nel 1962. Dal luglio del 2010 sono iniziati i lavori per la costruzione del nuovo rifugio, che è stato inaugurato l’8 settembre scorso. Ed è stato spostato circa 200 metri più a sud rispetto alla struttura precedente. Il vecchio rifugio verrà invece smontato.
La nuova struttura è fatta di materiali tecnologici e innovativi, molto leggeri e in grado di resistere alla forza degli eventi atmosferici. È largo 40 metri e alto 27 metri. Può ospitare fino a 120 persone e i primi alpinisti, venti, sono stati accolti il 19 settembre scorso.
