The hit podcast Serial will return for a second and third season, producer and host Sarah Koenig announced in an e-mail blast that noted she and her team are currently reporting on two new, separate stories.
According to Koenig, Serial is expected to return this fall, while Season Three is tentatively scheduled to arrive the following spring. While she didn’t offer any details on either story, Koenig wrote, “What we can say is that they’re very different from Season One, but no less interesting to us.”
