Le foto di sabato a Cannes

Con gli ultimi due film in concorso, entrambi molto attesi: quelli di Jim Jarmusch e Roman Polanski, con Tilda Swinton ed Emmanuelle Seigner

Oggi era il penultimo giorno di festival a Cannes e sono stati presentati gli ultimi due film in concorso, entrambi molto attesi. Il primo è stato Only Lovers Left Alive di Jim Jarmusch, con Tilda Swinton, Tom Hiddleston e John Hurt, su una coppia di vampiri amanti della musica rock. L’altro film in concorso era Venus in Fur dell’ottantenne Roman Polanski, interpretato dall’attrice e moglie del regista Emmanuelle Seigner e da Mathieu Amalric: è la storia del rapporto di repulsione e ossessione tra un regista teatrale e un’attrice.

Intanto sono stati assegnati i premi della sezione Un Certain Regard, guidata dal regista danese Thomas Vinterberg: il premio principale è andato al documentario The Missing Picture del regista franco-cambogiano Rithy Panh. Gli altri film premiati sono stati Omar del palestinese Hany Abu-Assad, Stranger by the Lake di Alain Guiraudie, e le opere prime Fruitvale Station di Ryan Coogler e La Jaula de Oro di Diego Quemada-Diez (entrambi in corsa anche per la Camera d’or domani sera).
