Al Bonaventure Hotel di Los Angeles, in California, è in corso la conferenza del National Homeland Security Associations, incontro annuale che si svolge dal 2005 e in cui si riuniscono le associazioni e i professionisti che si occupano della gestione delle emergenze più diverse. La conferenza prevede anche delle esercitazioni. Questa mattina è stato messo in scena un attacco terroristico nel centro di Los Angeles: ci sono degli attori sospettati di aver fatto esplodere una bomba, dei militari e degli elicotteri della polizia con tiratori scelti che volano bassi tra i grattacieli della città.
