È morto lo scrittore svedese Tomas Tranströmer, che nel 2011 aveva vinto il Nobel per la letteratura: aveva 83 anni

AFP riporta che la sua morte è stata confermata dal suo editore. Tranströmer è svedese, ed era nato a Stoccolma il 15 aprile del 1931. È figlio di una maestra elementare e di un giornalista. Si è laureato nel 1956 in psicologia all’Università di Stoccolma, dove l’anno seguente fu assunto come assistente. Nei primi anni sessanta lavorò come psicologo presso il riformatorio di Roxtuna vicino Linköping nel sud della Svezia. Nel 1990 fu colpito da un ictus che compromise la sua capacità di parlare.
