I danni a Ferguson visti dall’alto

Le ha fatte un fotografo di Associated Press: macchine bruciate, edifici distrutti e qualche colonna di fiori per ricordare il 18enne nero Michael Brown

Da due giorni a Ferguson, un città nella contea di St.Louis (Stati Uniti), proseguono le proteste per la decisione del gran giurì di non incriminare il poliziotto che lo scorso 9 agosto uccise il 18enne nero Michael Brown. La polizia locale, che negli ultimi mesi è stata spesso accusata di usare misure eccessive per fermare le manifestazioni, ha arrestato decine di persone. Ci sono stati degli scontri anche piuttosto violenti e diversi manifestanti hanno dato fuoco ad alcuni edifici di Ferguson e a qualche macchina. Charlie Riedel, fotografo di Associated Press, ha realizzato alcune fotografie dall’alto per mostrare i danni provocati dagli scontri e dalle proteste.
