In questi giorni ricorre il 150 esimo anniversario della battaglia di Gettysburg, una delle più importanti e sanguinose della Guerra civile americana, che di fatto decretò l’inizio della sconfitta – che avvenne due anni più tardi – per la Confederazione degli stati sudisti. Gettysburg, un piccolo paesino a circa un centinaio di chilometri da Washington, in Pennsylvania. Il fotografo John Moore di Getty Images ha visitato alcuni luoghi della battaglia e li ha fotografati, mettendoli a confronto con le foto scattate negli stessi posti dai fotografi dell’epoca.
