Sabato 24 marzo, il principe Carlo ha visitato insieme con Camilla Parker Bowles il relitto del Vasa, il vascello che si inabissò pochi istanti dopo la sua inaugurazione nel porto di Stoccolma nell’agosto del 1628. Il Vasa è conservato in un museo della città e Carlo e Camilla hanno avuto la possibilità di salirvi anche a bordo, cosa che non possono fare i comuni turisti per ovvie ragioni di conservazione del relitto.
