Dopo aver fatto molti danni nelle Filippine, il tifone Nesat si sta spostando verso la Cina

Il tifone Nesat ha raggiunto Hong Kong, dopo essere passato dalle Filippine uccidendo trentacinque persone. Scuole e uffici sono stati chiusi. Per il momento a Hong Kong non ci sono state vittime, ma due uomini sono rimasti feriti in seguito alla caduta di un albero. Una nave si è rovesciata nelle acque del porto, ma per fortuna a bordo non c’era nessuno.

I cicloni tropicali colpiscono regolarmente Hong Kong, le Filippine e altre regioni del sud-est asiatico nel periodo che va da fine estate a inizio autunno. La compagnia aerea principale di Hong Kong, la Cathay Pacific, ha comunicato che per il momento i suoi voli non subiranno variazioni. Da quando ha lasciato le Filippine il tifone Nesat si è molto ridotto di dimensioni. Ora ha un diametro di 350 km e una velocità massima di 121 km/h.
