Ieri il presidente degli Stati Uniti Barack Obama ha visitato insieme alla moglie Michelle la città di Tuscaloosa, Alabama, la più colpita dalle tempeste e dai tornado che hanno devastato il sud degli Stati Uniti nei giorni scorsi, uccidendo almeno 342 persone: di cui 228 proprio in Alabama. Obama ha detto di non aver mai visto una devastazione simile. Ha promesso che Washington farà il possibile per ricostruire le comunità distrutte, poi ha visitato una scuola elementare adibita a centro di evacuazione, dove insieme a sua moglie ha incontrato le persone che hanno perso le loro case.
